A great new event for a great cause

(March 27, 2012)
We are proud to be asosiated with a great new event which is being organised in aid of a very worthy cause.
The Big Reach mountain bike enduro is taking place on the 3rd June at Rogers Hill Farm, Bere Regis.

The event is being organised as a tribute and memorial to Royal Marine James Wright, who unfortunately lost his life recently whilst serving in Afghanistan.
The enduro gives anyone the chance to
take part in an event that was one of James' favourites pastimes, and at a venue where he also enjoyed Moto X
- another of his passions.

This is a challenging three hour event that is open to all levels of ability, with easy, difficult and extreme choices
of course routes.
This is not necessarily a race - the challenge is against the terrain, the clock, and the test of spirit and determination.
As the Marine motto states: PAIN IS BEATEN IN THE MIND.

The aim is to complete as many laps as you can in the three hours allotted.
Entrants will be grouped in the following batches, for an 11:00am start:
Ex I : Experienced off-road riding (individuals)
Ex 2: Experienced off-road riding (in groups)
N l: Novice (individuals)
N 2 Novice (in groups)
R l: Relay (one bike, group of riders in turn)

Due to the compact nature of the course, the paddock will never be far should anybody suffer a mechanical drama or feel the need
to make a mid-lap pit stop.

Entry fee is £12 in advance, or £15 on the day, though numbers will be limited. All proceeds go to the Royal Marines
Charitable Trust Fund.
lf any rider(s) wish to raise extra funds, forms will be available to you so you can be sponsored for your efforts.
Entry forms and further details are available from us in store or call 01305-784849
