They think its all over, it is now!

(November 08, 2010)
Over 150 entrants with, thankfully over 150 finishers! Apart from some rather pathetic walkers removing or playing with our route signs, everything seemed to run smoothly.
Everybodies times will be up shortly, although I'm not sure any two people did the same route! The weather turned out fine, after a slightly chilly and damp start and the routes seemed to be enjoyed by all.
A huge thankyou goes out to all those who helped us out during the day, especially to the Hansford team, without whom I would probably still be marking the routes, let alone taking them down! Thanks Rob, Amy and Ali.
But we couldn't have put this event on without all those who helped out, including our other halves and families who missed their usual Sunday morning confession to keep things running smoothly. Also thanks to Kingston Maurward College for allowing us to use their superb facilities in such stunning surroundings.
Finally well done to all the riders who made it round the various routes and I hope you all enjoyed it.
We hope to have raised a good sum for Help for Heroes and will post details of the amount as soon as we have worked out the event costs.
Watch this space for more details and possibly a spring edition of the Dabbler!
