Eddy Merckx is a cycling legend, his name is known throughout the world and he is seen as being one of, if not, the best road cyclist of all time!

Winning over 500 races during his riding career, Eddy Merckx gained more knowledge and experience than we could ever dream of and in 1978, at the end of his racing career, set up Eddy Merckx cycles.

Since then he has had a hands on role in designing and developing a superb range of bikes that have taken the new crop of road riders, such as ex World Champion Tom Boonen, to many great victories.
