A big thankyou to all of you that turned out for the second edition of the Dorset Dabbler and a special thanks to those that helped to put on the event.
Thanks to Dan and Matt who rode round with me on Friday before the event to start to mark the course only to be greeted with what I can only describe as some of the heaviest rain I have ever ridden in, what fun! Still, with Robs help we finished marking the route on Saturday.
We hope you all had a good day and apologise for the delay in putting up the times.

The event returns for a second year, once again based at The Kingston Maurward College, just outside Dorchester, so all the great facilities will be available including registration hall, showers and hot drinks.

This year it will be an offroad event only with 2 routes on offer. There will be a 25 mile or 35 mile route option. Both routes will take in some great trails and will vary from last years.

The routes will be marked and maps will be given, breakdown recovery (bike not personal!) and support will be given and energy food and recovery drinks will be available.

Pre entry will be £12.00 and on the day will be £15.00. An element of all entry fees will be given to 'Help for Heroes' which is our chosen charity.

On the day registration will start at 8am and riders will be started in groups of about 10 from 8.30am.
Toilets and showers will be available at the start and finish at Kingston Maurward and we request that all riders respect the colleges' facilities and do not leave rubbish or mess behind.
