Latest NewsThe Great Dorset Eight route is online.(March 27, 2011)After a glorious ride around what I think has been the best route I have ridden since the Isle of Man End to End, in terms of scenery and riding challenge, I can now put the proposed 30(ish) mile route online. This is in pdf form but on Tuesday I will put the route in GPS form on the site. If the weather is half as good as it has been it will be a great day but even with rain most of the route will be fine! It will be tough, there is about 3500foot of climbing but you will be rewarded with some of the best countryside views of Dorset and some fast long descents. So everyone pray to the weather gods and look back for the final details soon. You can enter online until Friday evening and then instore until Saturday lunchtime, or on the day. |
